Can anyone help? My incubator was turned off accidentally by a family member on day 5 of incubation. By the time I realised the temp at the top of the eggs (Still Air Bator) was at 34 degrees C or 93 degrees F. they were soon warmed back up to the correct temp. Will this have killed the developing embryos?

It may have killed them but it may not have , just incubate them like normal and then candle them on day 7 or 8 and see if you have a baby moveing around in there or just give them the benifit of the doubt and wait for 18 or so days and see if they hatch. I have heard of eggs surviveing power outages temp spikes falls cracks ect , sometimes they are tough little buggers. Good luck

I think they'll be fine. One of my broodies once got up, left the coop and couldn't get back in. By the time we realised what was going on her eggs were ice cold. They all hatched out fine.
