Incubator with extension cord

Has anyone had any issues running their incubator off of an extension cord instead of direct outlet?
Just debating where I want to set up my second one.

Incubators don't require much power so I'd think it would be fine. I would use 16 gauge cord though just to be sure of good power flow.

My hubby is an electrician who should be home in a few minutes I can ask about this to see his opinion, but my opinion is it should be fine as long as it's not some chincy cord.

I have two incubators, both plugged into a power strip to protect them, but no extension cords.

On geez. Last year I used a power strip with my TV, DVD player and 2 of those chancy 3 outlet extension cords plugged in.
I had several incubators, turners, a fan or two and an inkbird thermostat all plugged in.
