I can't believe a good God fearing man can't buy a decent incubator. All they seem to sell is China junk plastic everything mine came pre- broken one of the trays the crank end was gone and it was also supposed to have a foam insulation outside lined NOT!!! It took me 2 hours to snap this garbage together . The perfect incubator in my opinion has a 12volt egg turner 12 volt heater 12volt fans and a battery that gets charged with the 12 power supply you plug in to your wall . If the power goes out it automatically switches over to battery power . It also needs to be well insulated to hold temperature . If I build myself I will have it my way, Any thoughts on this out there in the chicken world ?

I don't think who you fear has anything to do with it.
There is a lot of junk out there. All trying to undercut the price of someone else.
This is a case of, 'you get what you pay for'.
Reliable controls cost money, as does appropriate insulation and the right design that keeps all parts at the same temperature and allows sufficient ventilation - not to mention frequent and reliable turning.
