My very first ever cream legbar finally hatched. And of course, it's a male. :D
(I am correct about that?)

That is a spot. The head should have a V on it and if the spot is inside the V it is a girl. Also there is a line through the eyes (eye shadow ) on the girls.

That one is ambiguous, but you're right it looks like a boy. There should be some striping on a girl somewhere.

I hate breeding the ambiguous ones, but I find they make the best looking birds often times.

Thanks. I breed silver duckwing OEGBs, so the markings I've seen are similar (although the oegbs don't get the spot)
@R2elk mentioned on another thread CLs needing assistance. Is that common for the breed??

No, I asked him about it. It has to do with the 180 million ft above sea level he lives at.

Ah ok. The first one hatched easily on its own, but I still don't have any more pips. Playing the waiting game.
Luckily, it's a lovely day outside, so I'm doing pen swaps, etc.
