I love those aprons!!!
That is too cute, and probably entirely necessary to protect their backs.
Thanks! All my ladies wear their saddles. They really do need them

Woke up this morning to find two more chicks hatched! I think that's probably it out of the five that developed. I candled the other two eggs today (day 22) and there wasn't any movement.
Congratulations on your babies! I'm sorry the others don't look like they're going to make it though.
Congrats on the hatch. Unless the eggs are clear, it doesn't hurt to remove the chicks & leave the eggs in there for another day or two. If dead, they'll stay dead, but if alive there's a little hope. Sometimes an egg can be in a cool spot & be delayed. It's a long shot, but I once cleaned out the incubator when I though the hatch was done. When doing the egg-topsies, I found one of my precious shipped eggs was still alive & probably could have made it. Those are such pretty quail, how old are they now?
What kind did you get? Thanks! I'm honestly shocked that any hatched at all. This was my first hatch, they're bantams, and they were shipped eggs from Florida. We're in California, so, that's a haul and a half for some eggs!
How many total did you set?Oops.... I started eggs in the bator.....blue cooper marans and silkie and 3 maybe turkey eggs....
