I noticed on your post that you have peafowl, do you have any whites? Would you sell any hatching eggs? My friend that gave me the bators is looking for a white hen, she bought two a year ago for $100 each, and one was supposed to have been a hen, but the hen ended up with a fan...so I don't think that one will be laying any eggs, and I would love to give her something in return for the bators.

Trying to figure out why I lost 4 chicks so close to hatch. On day of lockdown, I had to go to town and didn't get them to lockdown until that night. Could this have been what killed those 4 ? I had set them early morning. Or could it have been something else. All 4 chicks seem to be at the same stage of development when they quit. Any ideas?

Hi KK -

I've owned white peafowl in the past, but currently I only have India Blues.

I have a contact in Oklahoma, who gets a ton of eggs for me, whatever kind I want. I hatched my peacock (above), and one of my peahens from eggs she got for me. If you like I can try and get a hold of her, and work a deal. I'm sure she could get you all the eggs you want. Or "peachick" here on BYC has peafowl, I think she has whites. You might check w/ her for eggs.

Mine will be a year old this spring, so I won't have any eggs until next year. Bummer

In Oklahoma? That would be wonderful! Could you ask and see if she has any whites eggs she might sell or trade? I would really, really appreciate it!
