My first Choc Wyandotte hatched today... it was too wet to tell what color it was but YEAH!.... unless it was crossed with my Black LRW when she jumped the fence

I think I have this right but tell me if I am wrong. My Pullet is choc and the roo is split. I think all the roos from that cross will at least be splits right? Some should be Choc since dad has 1 copy and can pass it to 50% of the chicks. About 50% of the pullets should be Choc and 50% will just be black.... RIGHT. If she did have chicks by the Black LRW roo what would those chicks look like? Chipmunk?

Good over all hatch. 5 NH, 3 BR (I think they are all pullets) 1 BLRW 9-11 SBEL and 8-9 Sexlinked Marans. Seems like a small hatch.... the SBEL are all SOLD

and I sold 5 more today too. Someone wants all my Wheaten chicks, eggs anything I have LOL.... not much right now with orders to fill.

you'll get 50/50 choc or not hens & 50/50 choc & split roos hens can't be split.

I hatched 27 chicks from these eggs the last time around!! Have had awesome hatch rates from DMRippy eggs.

What is a lemon cuckoo exactly? I have one chick and 2 or 3 more eggs developing and I don't know anything about them. Are they just a light light yellow color that is barred or is there something else I need to know

but big lemon cuckoo orps are spectacular looking birds.

They are BEAUTIFUL, I have eight growing out in my crib brooder right now, ready to be my newest flock once they are ready to be out in their coop. ^_^
