Loaded my incubator today 13 Delaware eggs from Stacy Tate
12 Delaware eggs from Nancy Gerry
and 16 eggs from my comets

We will see what hatches from it.

40 Silkie and Sizzle eggs went into lockdown on Wednesday. They started hatching Thursday. By Friday Night I had 11. But Saturday, OMG

Oh, I did put 12 Showgirl eggs in the bator today, AND I have 15 Buff Lace Polish coming Wednesday

Question, will I be able to combine my chicks that are 2 weeks older than the new babies and if so when?

Hubby has agreed to let me have a room in our shop to put chicks and the incubator in

there is a water heater in the room and it will be easier to keep warm than the shop with 20ft tall ceilings and cold! He said we will start clearing it out tomorrow!!!!

Is it HIS garage? That maybe the difference. We bought this place for this SHOP 4000sft (Not including the second floor)so I could have MY SHOP but I didn't need all that space. I have about 1100 sft and the middle is kinda community area. This office is just a pass through to get to the shop... just 10x 10 or 12x 12 not huge. My son suggested the second floor storage space be a dedicated chicken area

I don't think they have figured out I WILL fill it up!

I recieved a package of eggs from Deb yesterday morning, and after being in the mail 5 days and getting rough treatment from the P.O. all arrived safe and sound!!
