I keep checking the bator. The 6 turkeys that hatched are knocking all the other eggs around. I am so afraid one of the eggs is going to split open from the impact of them hitting each other.

I have babies also 2 White faced Black Spanish..I am hoping for one more... i suspect 2 seramas quit late, and i think a couple of the WFBS quit late also but put them in the hatcher anyway just in case...

I have marans, blue and black coppers and Cuckoo.

I have those all the time.... those are probably my FOREVER breeds.

So I went into lockdown yesterday, so the 2nd guessing is of course, starting to kick in. Throughout this batches incubation, I've kept the humidity between 30-40 % judging on what I saw for the air cells (first time judging by that). When I did my day 18 candling I saw a lot of movment and this morning the eggs (that I had in nice rows) were all over the place, so I think they are having a little egg party in there. But I am a bit worried that some of the air cells are a bit large. What are the effects of having to large of an aircell? I know that to small means a chick that's to big. Thx!

I have looked at DMR's BIN thread about 100 times... my DH is getting nervous... already have two full incubators of about 70 eggs... but I really need more, right??!!!

Only 70 eggs? I think you need more. And if you run out of room I could loan some space in mine for 2 or 3 dozen eggs.....

I have:

eggs in one incubator hatching today,

eggs in another incubator hatching tomorrow (and more eggs coming up behind those),

a box of live chicks due to arrive in the mail tomorrow,

a box of hatching eggs that should arrive in the mail tomorrow,

another order of hatching eggs which will be mailed to me on Saturday,

another box of chicks that *should* get mailed to me next week,

a mud room full of boxes of chicks of all ages,

2 cages outside with older chicks...

Do you think I might have a problem?
