I've just had a chick hatch in the incubator! I'm a newbie with incubators, and the first chicken we had hatch a few days ago was badly shrinkwrapped and had to be helped...after getting a bit of help, I was able to fix the humidity problem and now I have a chick who hatched all on it's own! So proud
I'll take pictures when it's fluffed up!

Black Sex Link (roos from a NH x BR Hens)My Barred EE came from an EE x BSL Roo. They lay a green egg and they are covered by my Lavender AM roo. I need more Barred EE. There were just an accident. I may put a couple of my Lavender Split pullets in with my GSBR to get some barred pullets for next year.
DMRippy - is BSL- blue sex link ??
Sounds logical to me.33 eggs in incubator last night 34 go in tomorrow shipping 7 eggs out tomorrow but I am not addicted, I am just feeding a need, people need chickens, chickens come form chicks, chicks come from eggs.
this is logical right![]()
