I would feed my chickens any protein EXCEPT CHICKEN.... just me but there is something not right about making them cannibals intentionally. Fish, beef, pork..... I don't care.... I care if it could be CHICKEN. I also think my chickens do better on the MEAT protein. I am sure that is not the TOTAL protein source but it is HIGH on the list.

I get people ask me all the time "those chicks are so big! What do you feed your birds????? " I think it is one reason people get good hatches from my shipped eggs too.

I don't ever want to see scrapple again.... yuck.....

My husband LOVES scrapple. When he drove trucks every time he went up North he would buy scrapple to bring some home.
Donna I know you said before on one of your posts but I can't remember where to look. Where is your source for this pork based feed?

i boil up all clears and mash them up for the chickens

all deads get boiled and fed to pigs

waste not want not

I don't have time to boil and mash up hundreds of eggs every week. I wish I could but I have to take care of 400 chickens single handedly... well hubby helps some. Don't have help to build or feed or water chickens so boiling eggs is a luxury I have to pass on.
