Ugh we've got over a foot of snow already and it's supposed to keep going till tonight. Hope we don't lose power again :/ I'll have to stick the incubator by the woodstove again *sigh*

I got my 18 chicks outside finally (7/8 weeks) and the brooder cleaned out. I need to seal the inside wood before the next batch go in 2 weeks from now. Started them on FF and they love it.

I candled twice this week for the neighbors (these will be their chicks)...they are so excited...and taught them a little about chicken math. I only had to pull 2 of the 25 eggs from the bator. Early quitters- 3 days and 6/7 days.

Next weekend we will be hatching lots of RIR x chicks.
