Yeah I'm having problems getting rid of some chicks that are crosses. In the future Mine will all be Delaware's or Rhode Islands which I think would sell quicker. Maybe hatch some Barred rocks.

I'm hatching Buff Orpingtons now. I've been considering switching out that flock to something else. Barred Rocks is one I've been thinking of. Idk yet. I love m buffs, and don't have time to build another pen yet. I also have a sizzle project pen, but its slow going until next year. Lol Too many young birds still and only 1 was laying, ten she went broody. I hatched a few Frizzled EE's, just cause I wanted to see what they look like after they're grown. My turkey is raising them. Lol They r looking pretty adorable! Maybe an EE pen? Hmmm. I want everything!!!!!

So I filled the water trays on the farm innovator with water, humidity wouldn't go about 50%. So I added paper towels and now its jumped up to 80% and there's condensation on the glass. Took out the last plug, I'll see what it is when I get home lol. I get to put my lockdown eggs in there this evening. Can't wait to see it full of flufferbutts!

Are your chicks BYM? Some anyway. You could do BO or RIR x BPR if you have the breeds and sell sex links. The hit however would be on males would probably have to be extra cheap if at all, the downside of sex linking. You may just do better with SR pure if there is a market for them, I know Ebay always has a market for pure eggs.

my bator is still sitting there brand new and empty!!! You guys probably have hundreds and I would be happy with two dozen black and blue copper marans. I keep telling myself next year! Have a happy hatch and don't tell me if they are blue and black coppers.

I would love to get some Marans someday, Today I have blue Slate Turkeys hatching a day early. 6 out. 7th zipping. 2 or 3 more rockers. The 9 ducks eggs we have 4 pips but no zips yet. and the hatched turkeys are kicking eggs all over the place. lol

I have a bit of everything going on BCM to right. most are girls, it is fun to see the colors. mostly I like blue chicks.
