i have never really noticed the difference - though i give them to the chicks because they will get the most benefit from them and its such a waste to toss them

i scrambled 50 eggs one time when i had way too many, it was terrible. I couldn't even stir it and i broke the wooden spoon, the dogs really loved it though. But when you posted
about mashing after boiling that seemed a whole lot easier. I think i'm going to give it a try.

I mash boiled eggs to give to the chicks. It's a very easy way to do a few dozen at a time.

Thanks. I find it interesting the different techniquies and things that people look for. I am always learning something on this site. I take the parts that work for me and leave the others. The egg floating thing in interesting, but with working full time, I don't see that becoming a part of my incubation process.

I am very curious if my sideways aircell egg will make it. I know those are not the best positions. I need to keep an eye on it.

I have 2 sideways as well so curious to see how mine do as well

I am incubating fat end up so hopefully they will make it!!!!

I have some air sack on the side in the incubator right now and still get about hale of them to hatch but I am always worried till the end ........

I just hatched some Seramas a few days ago, I have more Serama eggs in transit to me right now, and today I ordered 2 dozen Serama eggs from Castle Delight to be shipped August 25.

Looks like my Brinsea is not going to be getting a rest any time soon, though my styro bators are unplugged for now. I don't plan to plug them back in until September or so.
