Its day 19 and I noticed a dark spot on one of the eggs, its the one in the middle close to the 0 its almost like an x shape. Is it pipping?

When did you last candle? Can you remove that egg, and candle it without moving it's position? When I candle an egg close to hatch, I lay it on the counter on a towel, and then orient it so I can shine the light in through the air cell. If it's still moving, fine... but if it looks sloshy, or otherwise dead, I'd be concerned that it may be dead. Give it a good sniff. The nose may be able to tell you. Usually, they don't develop dark spots associated with pip.

Is it possible it has been on there from the beginning----looks like some dirty spot on the egg just like the other eggs in the picture has.

Are you into Lock-Down now? Did you do a final candling yesterday/today? What is your humidity now?

Its in lockdown I candled last night and all 6 eggs are fine this particular egg I saw the chick kick. I noticed the spot immediately because it was not there this morning

I have the tube running into the largest outside water tray. I don't have to open the lid to add/remove water. I just use a syringe and run it on through. The second tubing isn't in use. I just have it there in case I need it the last few days to keep the humidity up in a second tray.

I ran the bator dry a few days before putting the eggs in. Humidity was around 35%. I may just have to run it dry until MN gets it's act together :)
In all my styrofoam incubating---I only use the smaller water tray for the first 18 days----using the larger during the first 18 days would cause my Humidity to be to high.

Also there is nothing wrong with opening the incubator for a few minuted each day for the first 18 days----I feel like it even helps----like the hen getting off the nest to eat etc.

I also feel the factory added the vent holes that your tubes have blocked for a reason----so I do not block them. If I wanted to leave the tubes in place "I" would drill a extra hole in a "better" location. I just stick a flex-straw in the big hole to add water during the lock down---removing the straw after finishing. Good Luck

good points.

I run a tube, but I like to put it through the pre-made notch for the egg-turner cord.

Relax and watch the miracle of life and day 19 is alright as it can take more then a day for the chicks to hatch ..

I get egg's hatching anywhere from day 18 to 23 so just sit back as lockdown is just that nothing needed more from you as mother nature is taking over and as much as you think the chick needs your help remember momma chicken only watches at this point .......... So be the momma chicken and keep the eggs warm and safe ........

Hard to sit out the last part ...........

Good Place!! I like to drill a hole on the side of the GQF Styrofoam just big enough to stick the turkey injector needle in so it is directly above the water tray and slowly inject then I can cover that hole with a piece of tape.

As requested, here are Cookie's chicks! All 7 hatched. I moved the happy family into the rabbit cage.
The roo is a black orp.
4 pure black orp chicks
2 EE chicks (Legbar-orp)
1 mutt chick

As usual, DD picked her fav. This time it's an EE. Either an EE-orp or a Legbar-orp.
In the bright sunlight it has a brown hue.

The black one with the pink beak is the other EE.
The yellow/white chick is from Princess- Lay-a. Princess is one of those very lovable mutts, but she's also an egg machine.

pic below: What do you guys think? Does it look like a male head-spot? (I believe that combo makes a sex-link, so only a male offspring could get the barring from the mother.)

Last 2 pics are DD's fav chick.
