I have 7 little chicks in the bathtub, 26 eggs in the bator and 36 more to be shipped when these hatch. I have over 30- 10 week olds, and about 20- 7 month olds. Lord help me!! I do manage to sell several every week thank God. I HAVE TO QUIT AFTER MY NEXT HATCH!!

8 more baby quail hatched today! And my eggs of the month came, 8 of the smallest eggs you ever saw, must be button quail! And a dark chocolate egg, and several other brown eggs. Two were broken, and one cracked, so I waxed that one. Still, it will be fun to guess what they are once they hatch.
I am almost done the coop project, walls are done, door is made and installed. I need to add one 2x4 near the door, put on the latch, install the perches and feeders. I started the run, I got one panel made but I need more welded wire. So maybe I will go buy that tomorrow .
My list of birds that need coops is awfully long! Let's just say this may take a while. I need a pen for each color Polish, EE, silkies, salmon faverolles, buff brahmas. Ugh, this may take all year! :-D

I guess I am glad I am a breed "purist" and only have one color of chook to house!!!!
