oops forgot about the 2 dozen eggs coming from Porters turkeys. They have awesome rare breeds and I am so far hatching all but 2. Everything is pipped from my last dozen from then except 2 quitters.

I love their web site. I fall in love with so many of the breeds of turkeys. I have BR in the incubator now (from my stock) and have a poult chirping non stop in the bath room, DS went to check on it.

I have three mottled black, 3 pencilled chocolate palms, 2 blue slate, and 2 chocolate palms waiting on 1 blue slate 1 mottled black to zip.

the most awesome hatch I have had with shipped eggs. i have a ton develop but several DIS with shipped eggs. Don't know why. Anyway, turkeys have been a challenge I wanted to conquer. I guess I'm getting there.

Dont look at me I got my 50 button quail eggs in the mail today

to go with the 58 ish eggs in the hatcher and the 21 eggs in the other bator and the 23 jumbo quail I just hatched

SSSHHHHHHH!!!! don't let the "cochin people" hear you call them lavender.

"the color is self blue. the GENE is lavender".

personally i think the term self blue is too often confused with blue (as in black/blue/splash), while lavender gives a totally different visual.
