Quote: REALLY! They made it into the states with EGGS?

I was shocked too. I was asked if I would hatch them and I said yes not really expecting them to make it.

Maybe it worked because one of the couple is a Spanish Native?

The brought back:

18 Marraduna Basque
12 Pita Pinta
12 Partridge Penedesenca

Basque has 12 developing
Pita Pinta has 7
the Pennes are so dark I can't really tell

ok well another update... nobody offered me anything i wanted in exchange for the pheasant eggs. so guess that means they go in the incubator.

anyone give me any hints on incubation? i'm guessing the temp/humidity etc is all the same, but how long??

from my research, the roos will get along as long as there aren't any pheasant hens, so i might just put 1 or 2 in my egg pen for some AWESOME color. 8) no eggs but still nice to look at. or maybe a pair... who knows. LOL we'll see what hatches.

and yeah, Donna, i quit hatching too. lol that's why i'm putting 18 pheasant in, and put 20 guineas in yesterday.
