It is what it is. So many factors go into incubating doesn't it? Hope it works out ok. Wait and see andOMG dang. I have quail eggs 10 of them hatched thursday and friday they were due sunday. Nothing out of the last two . So like an hour ago I take them out and put them on the floor while I clean my bator . My son is like its alive IM like no they arnt there dead .. He says Im sure this one is gasping. Im like what the heck I look and sure enough a pip and a little gasping beak. All brown and leather cuaes its been sitting out in the dry air and cold so I peel a little bit of shell and membrain away hopeing to give him just enough wiggle room to start zippingbut he starts to bleedso I just pop him in the bator. He is going on day 20 or so how can there still be blood ugh late late baby especally compaired to his early sibliings.![]()

I have Silkies. Head roo is a white Si22le tho & have a waiting list for eggs because I had 3 girls go broody at once & now only 1 is laying again so far. Have 4 orders to get out before I can add another to the list.ok i'll post here. 8) got a customer wants bearded/crested silkies. no specific colors that i know of. who has or can recommend someone? i'd rather go with a recommendation over someone i've never dealt with. i don't do or want to do silkies for myself.
Everyday I would find guineas running around the shop so I moved them out with the EE and BR. The BR roo made all his girls go to bed.... LOL he didn't want to deal with the new kidsI WANT to be thru hatching, I really do !I can't figure out where to put the baby ducks and I already moved some babies out to the shed a week early because I had new babies who needed the babiey brooder, good thing it is so hot outside. The guinea keets are running the fence line constantly cause there are smaller keets 2 pens down (I guess that's why they are doing that anyway) All my chicks/poults are so friendly and the keets are so wild even tho they were raised with the chicks/poults. I can't wait till they are big enough to turn out. (Then I'll have another grow out pen
