It's coming!!! Slowly... Oh I have such a hard time not "helping"!!!!! I think I need to put the bator in the basement so I leave it alone. Ha haa haa yeah right.. then I'd just live in the basement all day. Although maybe I'd get a little cleaning done down there then.

Well I found a buyer for all the male sex link chicks that will hatch, so now just to get these dang pullets to lay then I will be stuffing everything laid into te bator! Only about another month and the dellies should start. My customer wants up to 400 pullets so that means I will get to hatch out around 800 chicks!!! Yay!

Well I found a buyer for all the male sex link chicks that will hatch, so now just to get these dang pullets to lay then I will be stuffing everything laid into te bator! Hatch update... ALL the EE hatched and of the 4 Cuckoo Marans 3 hatched (the other has movement but no pip) they all look like pullets too. 2 have feathered legs 1 clean legged.

Now if the other one hatches and is a roo.... I am in business!

I buyer???? That is great! I just give mine away.... it still helps the bottom line.

I can't even seem to get rid of any of my bantam mixes. I take it that bantam mixes aren't the thing to hatch around here. They are very beautiful and so lively. I have thoroughly enjoyed them. I can't hatch anymore until I move some out.

and on that note, i set 15 EE eggs today. LOL 6 chicks are already sold tho. and possibly a few more. the marans and blue barred rocks (donna's) are doing well. i can see life in the lighter eggs, and hints here and there in the marans, but my flashlight is justnot strong enough to break thru. and the (30) blrw eggs i set are progressing nicely too. about 12 hours behind donna's, but i'll plan to lockdown at the same time.

i've also got 6 self blue/split eggs due the 21st, and NO CLUE when i set the quail eggs. LOL had some health issues going on the last 2 weeks and forgot to write it all down. so i'm candling daily looking for internal pip to tell me when.

I was just getting into hatching & so excited that I didn't think that far in advance when I hatched them. I really didn't expect to have so many hatch since they were all shipped from all over.

I hope you're feeling better now. & I'm glad you're hatches are doing so well. I'll just have to enjoy ya'lls hatches until I move some out. So, ya'll just keep on hatchin'.
