This question has been asked a lot lately--I have not tried it personally, but all of the answers I have seen posted here say YES you can put the LG turner in the 1588.

Yes the LG turner definately fits in the 1588. At least the older turner does ( the one with the removable individual egg cups, I can't vouch for the newer model with the trays )

I've been told the Hova Bator turner won't fit in the LG.
