I have a 9200 still incubator and was wondering if anybody has experienced their chicks getting burned after they hatch. It seems to me that once they hatch out and stand up, that their head would touch the heating element.

THATS what i was worried about,,,and i sat there and watched them till they dried,,, and NONE of them touched the element,, i even had a huge leghorn baby in there.

I have an old Lyons still air, never had a problem with the wafer elements and chicks getting burnt.
