IncuCube Bator

Here is another photo of the IncuCube. I am very happy with it.

And here it is on it's first day in action.

one thing is for certain, you need a constant room temp. I turn mine up at night and down in the morning.

The temp/hygrometer I got with the bator would never fit where you placed yours lwartic with the turner in place. Yours is smaller.

Temp still swings from 98.6 to 101.7 and back... I guess the average is 100. So hopefully it will work. Humidity right now is stable at 37% IF that hygrometer they send you is correct.

If it has a fan (like the HovaBator styrofoam) it is suppose to do that. You take the average. You need a "Spot check," to have an accuarate reading! I love it ... it would easily fit, as it stays outside except for the little probe.

Did you calibrate the hygrometer?

Well, let's see how many hatch out of the 12. I'll give them that... and pray for the best.

Kinda reminds me of an expensive, tiny, home made bator. I need to take a pic with the duct tape and all....

lwarctic.. I like the use of what looks like plastic easter eggs as a cup filler for smaller eggs. Dollar store here I come

I was thinking the eggs I am going to use may be just small enough to have trouble fitting well.

Mine came Saturday I haven't taken it out of the box yet. I will set it up tonite put eggs in it Tues or Wed. My DH and I have been building a juvenile coop for all my eggs that might hatch....I have birds ready to get out of the brooder they are 5 weeks today. I'm going to put local eggs in it first that way if something goes wrong I will not be out much.
