IncuCube Bator

Hello Everyone.

I received my IncuCube about a week ago. I love mine. I bought some Bantam RIR eggs and thought of an idea of putting 1/2 of the plastic Easter egg in the turner and then put the bantam egg in the 1/2 Easter egg. It works great. My temp fluctuates a little from 99.2 to 100.2. The egg turner works great. Today is day 4 for my eggs. I have never hatched any before so I am pretty excited. I have a 8 year old daughter that can't stop looking at the bator. I actually velcroed my temp/humidity on the side of the bator above the turner, it his up off the eggs and out of the way. I have taken some photos but can't find my USB camera cord to download on my computer. As soon as I find it I will download some photos for you. I really like this IncuCube because I have it on my small office desk in my office out of high traffic areas and I really like the nice big window, you can see everything that is going on inside the bator. I will keep you up to date on my testing of the IncuCube. I guess I'm with everyone for the April hatch.

Well I'm glad to hear someone likes theirs. Now I'm afraid I too made a mistake jumping on board too quick, but I really liked the size and thought it was what I was looking for. I guess time will tell.

Basically buyers remorse

I made a snap decision to buy and have some expensive eggs in my next hatch, bought too many eggs and needed the extra room.

You're right I'll give it a try. I just will put the more common eggs in it. Thanks for the wake up call

Mine is on the way and I am very excited. Along with that excitement I realize I am part of a beta test group.. we are going to each have a unique experience when you consider if your a new or seasoned hatcher. I am green as grass... and could fall

but I am willling to learn and try. I am a firm believer in if you have a problem contact the vendor and see what they can suggest they want the consumer to be successful as well.

I suppose the proof will be in the results.

So far, I feel badly about its construction. I think I'm going to duct tape the front side too so that I don't walk out some morning and see it open like the back side was yesterday. Hopefully it was early enough in incubation not to have had an effect.

I also wonder how one could velcro the temp/humidity monitor to the side and have it not be in the way? .... especially when the turner is in there. When I put it up by the window on it's side, the temp does not read accurately. I finally set it on one side with the eggs... put that made the turner so it wouldn't work.

I'm still hopeful that my eggs will hatch but if they don't I guess I've learned my lesson.

Mahroni, I'll be bugging you for help. Got notification that mine was shipped yesterday... I'm in green horn... LOL..
Happy Easter.. I'll hopefully be trying duck eggs...

The styrofoam turned me off from it. The turner however I would be interested in, but so far I haven't seen it available separate. I check their shop at least once a week so will see it eventually if they do. Some of their stuff I like, some I don't. Some of their prices are great and some on the overpriced side. Good videos and he seems nice. Don't understand why rheostats are the only option, although I'm sure there is a reason, I'm just not seeing it.

I would like to try the turner in the Reptipro though.

Hello Everyone. I told you I would post some photos of this IncuCube with turner when I got some downloaded. I think I have it figured out. Here it goes.
