IncuCube Bator

I just disputed it the charges on PayPal asking for a full refund. If the turner is broken, there are nicks on the outside and they are not responding via email, phone messages or PM's on backyard chickens, I would say we may have been taken.

Personally I won't risk putting my expensive hatching eggs in it...who knows what else doesn't work well...

Just my opinion.

Our apologies for our absence on the forum. Monday's are our busiest day of the week and so we haven't had a lot of time to focus on the IncuCube Beta yet today. Just wanted to let everyone know that we are still here and we are very appreciative of the feedback, keep it coming. We are already working on Rev. 2. Below is a summarized list of the feedback I read:

1) Holes in turner don't accommodate all sizes of eggs.
2) Turner broke during shipment
3) Window came off
4) Window feels flimsy
5) Wide temperature swings in incuabtor
6) Packing box too small for incubator

We will not be leaving anyone high and dry on this beta-test, we are dedicated to this product and that is why we decided to do a beta test on Backyard Chickens. We value your feedback and hope that you will keep it coming. I encourage everyone to keep the feedback as objective as possible. If anyone is unsatisfied with the product and would like to get out of the beta test, please email me directly at [email protected].

Thanks,

Randy Pryor

Mine just came in a few minutes ago.. The Turner is cracked and broken... Haven't gone any further with unpacking the rest of the stuff packed in side.. am sending them an email asap..
I finished unpacking and the turner is broken in several places plus broken away from the metal thing with the cord attached that makes it turn...
I also didn't receive a Thermomter/hydrometer... But could that be because I paid 10.00 extra for the egg o meter???/

I got them an email off just a few minutes ago..

the box was not damaged... but like ya'lls was placed in a box with another piece taped on top.. I wonder it the damages are coming from where they get them and not the mail. Definately coud be a packing issue too.
I hope the turner being broken away from the turner motor thinggy doesn't affect how the fan above will work as it was pushed up against it.
PS.. Cute incubator.. but I'm partial I think cause it's my first one..

well I got it figured out..{ I can be a little slow } Luckily I received mine in good condition, except for 1 missing water container. I have it running and tryng it all out, and my turner so far so good. I'm new to incubators so this is really different for me. Last time I tried hatching I used a friends LG and both times nothing but failure, so I hope this works for me

glad you got the plug in figured out..you do not need to run the wire into the bator "crack" at all...there is a small plug in mounted on the side of the incubator lid..you simply plug the power cord into that.

Incubatorwarehouse.....glad to see your response here. I know there are some in this thread that are quick to "try and hang" all too quickly. I think we ALL have to remember, we are the guinea pigs here, we agreed to do this beta test for better or worse. It is what it is.....

Like I said, I will not harbor any ill will or bad mouth this company. I dont know about the rest of you who agreed to purchase one of these and provide feedback..but you can't expect a brand new product to perform flawlessly right off the starting line. How about we let incubatorwarehouse.com work on those problems we agreed to find for them, and fix those issues. I think a little time, patience and understanding are in order here right now.

well I unpacked mine all was well I don't know if the turners working but perhaps a photo of how it all goes together would be wonderful as soon as I can get the battery compartment open on my temp/humd I'll know how to adjust it. I will be putting eggs in it Wed if I get it stable. I think it's cute

Okay, I came into this in an interesting matter. I originally bought one of these incubators, figuring it would be perfect for my classroom, not realizing it was a 'new' test product, lol. I haven't incubated eggs in a LONG time..we're talking over 14 years ago when I was a child, and even then, I wasn't really in charge of all of the detailed aspects. This is the first incubator I have ever actually owned. One issue I see right off the bat is the temperature adjust knob..maybe you all can help me...how do you know if it is on the right way?

From the Back MID LINE, use a knife to push the compartment down, remove the little battery strip and put the battery in then snap the batter compartment cover back into place and you're in business. Took me at least 15 minutes to figure out so that would be a suggestion for the company... to send out instructions on how to open the compartment.

Temp continues to sway between 98.6 and 101.6 So I guess I'm in range. Wondering if it would be better to be on the low side? rather than the high side.
Will be candling these eggs on Sunday.

Just got done candleing these eggs. They are 6 days old today. I used a LED small flashlight. Again, these are bantam RIR eggs. I have never candled eggs before in my life but these were actually pretty easy to candle. Out of the 13 that I received, I am positive that 12 are fertile and good, having veins and the little black dot moving around inside the egg. I am going to candle again on day 9 or 10 to check the one that I'm not too sure about. My temp has been pretty steady between 99.3 and 99.8. My 8 year old just had a great time watching the black dots move around, I told her I thought it was the heart???? Not for sure it is, but seems to make sense. I will keep you all up to date on my hatch.

Good luck everyone with this bator, so far it has treated me okay. Turner has worked fine also.
