IncuCube Bator

I didn't get one either so I don't know if I have to ask for one but I will if I don't get one soon in the mail..... I really thought I was getting just the turner and would have to change out that little motor but I'm okay because I'm on lock down anyway.

I guess my original cube and turner were put on hold waiting for the new turners to be available. I did received an email saying it would ship a week ago but nothing so far. Still waiting & watching for mine to arrive.

well. , my IncuCube did hatch out 20 of 36 Cortunix quail eggs..however, I haven't heard anything from Randy in a week...........so I will sell my incucube, plus the Rev 2 egg turner for $75.00.

It did a good job for the hatch, but I am going to stick with my Brinsea. So, this one is for sale..anyone want it, just send me a PM.

Well I'm on day 24 and still no baby chicks. I set 12 eggs and they should have hatched May 1. They are still moving around so I am assuming they are still alive, but I am starting to have my doubts. Don't seem like all 12 would wait this long.

Strike my last post about receiving the new turner....it wasn't the new turner it is their new IncuLight that I purchased on Ebay. I just spoke to Randy and he said the new IncuCubator with the new turner will be mailed out tomorrow. I am happy with that because I think my hovabator isn't really keeping good temperature. Randy reminded me that my hovabator is still under warranty if I purchased it within one year, which I did!

Well the first eggs I set in it were not very good and none hatched then I put some CM eggs in it that I figured none of them were good for a week candled them and 8 were good from 18 so I needed to hatch my silkies since those eggs were too small for the turner so I changed eggs out and

I bought mine to set small batches or handle overflow from my other incubators and really didn't want to hatch in it to help keep it cleaner but it worked and I did add 3 more air holes so I could add water too without opening it and I have been very pleased with how well the temp doesn't change much. I did think my humidity might have been a little high when I first went into lock down but my eggs are hatching great so far other than the turner issues I'm very pleased and it has allowed me to easily watch what's going on while they hatch. I think for a classroom project this would be wonderful.

Help Please, I went into lockdown on Tuesday evening, filled all five of my little cups and another I added. My humidity was 71%, woke up this morning and it dropped to 47%!!! What to do now? I never got around to drilling a hole and putting tubing in

should I quickly open to add more water or not? BTW have 4 turkey eggs and 8 RIRs - it looks awfully crowded, but other than this humidity drop my temps have been steady and no wild fluctuations during the previous days, think I added more water two or three times. This is my first time so I'm not expecting miraculous results but would like something to add to my little group...

yeah...open it up and quickly add more water then get the top back on....just dump it into the bottom..don't worry about hitting the cups....that way you can get the lid on quicker...your temp will hardly fluctuate at all.

Well, my hatch is over. I guess I just don't have any luck when it comes to hatching chicks.

Out of 12 eggs I go 0 to hatch. I kept thinking I was seeing movement until today. I finally gave in and started opening them up and 1 by 1 they were 4 unfertile, 4 fully formed, but dead, and 4 some development but quitters. They should have hatched last Saturday, and I thought they were just taking a long time. Someone said wait till 28 days, so I gave them the benefit of doubt. I can't say it was the incCube, as my temp and humidity seemed good and pretty steady. Although I did not have any other thermometers to compare it with. I used all 5 trays for water and filled up the bottom of the bator, and I also had to use 3-4 tampax pads to keep the humidity up. I'm totally disappointed, as I had a few eggs that were from my favorite hen, that suddenly passed away for unknown reasons about 4 1/2 wk ago. This takes so much patience and watching and hoping, that I don't know if I want to do it again
