Would it be a terrible idea to use cardboard as dividers? I can't find the plastic stuff aart used. I know air flow will be impacted some. I plan to make it only about 3 inches tall. Probably shouldnt....

Thank you but there's a couple reasons that wont work for me. I'm in Canada and therefore don't have affordable access to stuff on the American Amazon. Also, lock down is Sunday night so there's not enough time. I looked in the crafting section at a couple of my local walmarts without luck.
I'm also considering egg cartons or leaving the turner in. I think pinballing might have caused a couple to die while zipping last time. I have one of those baby soother/bottle dishwasher racks but they're too tall for the incuview. I've only got 11 eggs in there so this shouldn't be so hard to figure out.

oh ok. I was thinking of trying the little organizer baskets that people use in drawers.. they are a mesh or plastic squares.

This is what I did and it worked good, totally kept the eggs still. Just didn't keep the chicks sorted.

Seems you could have a point there, might be. What if you lined those? How much might those layers interfere with airflow I wonder.
