Incuview Incubator

If you are hatching guinea eggs in your Incuview, beware , mine started jumping out the sides the minute i took the top off after the first 24 hours ! I had quite a time getting them out from behind my dresser!

Omg, too funny! Did you happen to weigh your guinea eggs in the beginning? I read a study that concluded that the best hatchability was achieved when the eggs weighed between 39-42g. I'd like to try some in my incuview but so far they're only at 32g. I'm hoping my hen will eventually lay them larger.

Yikes!!
I had the same concern with the low sided base...luckily no chicks jumped out.

No i do not weigh eggs. It does seem to take a while for them to increase size. This is the first year for my folk laying.

Anyone have this much fuzz on the fan intake screen after a hatch?
This is only my 2nd hatch with this machine, but the first hatch was way less accumulation on screen but maybe more in water reservoirs.
I wonder if the dividers I used inhibited the air circulation so fuzz accumulated on screen instead of reservoirs?
There was more fuzz on eggs and chicks than before too.
Maybe just super fuzzy chicks.

Divider worked well, except I still have air circulation concerns.
Was hard to get humidity up, had to add sponges.

Chicks stayed where they hatched, divider walls are softish and movable, but the shape of the lid in conjunction with the top of wall being very close to lid kept them from being pushed too far.

Will make pattern soon, things are crazy here with spring chores.

Not that much, but I cleaned half way through on the 2 nd hatch

I cleaned it after the first hatch (and will clean after every hatch) so that is all from the second hatch.

What do you use to clean the lid....if you do?
I had a lot of dust the first hatch so I cleaned half way through the second.... but not as much as yours.

I used vinegar in water to wash the top.. or bleach water to disinfect
