Anyways...the Equimax just arrived and I’m so confused. It’s in a syringe marked with lbs. How do I give them .03 mL? If it’s an obvious answer I’m gonna feel really dumb.

Do you have a 1 ml syringe? If so, transfer the paste to it.

You can get 1ml oral syringes at most drug stores, just ask at the pharmacy. You can get down to 3ml at most Tractor Supply stores.

You can use it, it's just a little harder to measure the tiny doses. On a 3 ml syringe .2ml would be the second tiny line at the tip. It's easier to measure small amounts with the smaller syringe, but it's doable with the 3 ml.

Ok thank you. And fasting them for 24 hrs before doing this is required? I don’t even know how I’m gonna do that. I mean I can take away their food. But they spill it so they’ll eat that. Then I can’t keep them from foraging for bugs.

Just pick up good tonight and give them the med first thing in the morning before you let them out or feed them.

I always just fast them overnight, give them the meds 1st thing in the morning before they have access to anything else.

I wouldn't withhold food for 24 hours.
