Indian Runner, 2 y/o not walking

yes another egg every day so far but no improvement otherwise. I had to get up early (4am) for an early work start but still managed to bathe her and give her additional vitamins, unfortunately she was not doing as well as yesterday and she had a drop of a white fluid in each of her eyes which worries me

This isn't something I rec on a whim but I wonder if a dose of antibiotics might be in order for her? you'd have to toss the egg but she may have something internal going on. I'm going to ask some other seasoned Members to check in. Does she have a bowl or bucket deep enough to dunk her head in, Put some ACV into it 1-2 Tab to 1 gal of water she can wash out her eyes and it's also a good tonic for insides.

thank you so much for your response. I checked the legs by turning the duck on her back, pressing gently against the foot and there was good response, so if a leg was injured she would most likely just let it drop. I have read about Niacin deficiency but that is in ducklings. With my Daisy it looks as if it was from the hips. Well thanks anyway and there is no Duck doctor here can only hope and pray.
Actually, a niacin defficiency can manifest in adults as well. Either because the feed is lacking or illness. It is never a bad idea to up the niacin intake.

This is what I would do if this were my girl. Get a human chewable calcium with vitamin D pill, crush it and add to 1/2 cup of water in a bowl. Make this the only drinking water available until she drinks it all, then another warm bath. Now because of the chance of vitamin D overdose, only give this once a day. Giving the calcium can help in two ways...first if it is a laying issue and second with muscle injury, if that's what this is. I would also think that a good vitamin supplement added to her regular water might be a good idea right now. Also check the bottom of her feet for bumbles.

Hard to say without being there, but I am thinking both Miss Lydia's and Haunted55's thoughts make sense. You could be dealing with pinched nerve, niacin and calcium deficiency (could be metabolism as much as not enough being ingested), sprain and-or infection.

Sprains and pinched nerves can take days to resolve. The eye stuff may or may not be related. Veterycin may help with the eyes, or just a mild saline solution.

Thank you all for your response, I dare to say today it seems the pinched nerve and or vitamin deficiency could have been it..... Please enjoy with me......this is the latest on Daisy
Daisy on the way to recovery, day 6, extra vitamines (Niacine in the morning and Poly-aid plus with probiotic in the afternoon) given, warm bath (downsized from bath tub to laundry tub, for water saving), towel dry, lots of TLC and walking/standing on her feet again. Not 100% yet but really looking good. She is soooooo much better today.

Someone suggested I watch it, she may be pretending, just to get the extra attention... Ducks are smart
