We hatched blue runner eggs in hopes of getting at least 1 lavender. We started with 7 eggs, we had one early quitter and ended up with 2 blacks, 2 blues, and 2 lavenders

Those are called Silvers actually, not Lavender. Very cute, and congrats on the hatch!

Thanks! Good to know. I cant tell the difference between silver and lavender, so I tend to bounce between the two titles I love the unique color though. I'm excited to see what theyll look like as adults!!

how are they feathering out so far??

The silvers are are looking kinda cool...the "splash" is starting to appear on their chests. They're at that awkward half fuzz-half feather phase, so they look a little goofy right now. Also, its looking (well, sounding) like theres a male and female of each color. What are the odds?! Of 7 blue runner eggs, a pair of each color!!! Crazy!
