Indian Runner/Day 13 Candling Photos

It's more than likely my fault. The water wasn't getting refilled on time so the number kept dropping while I was at work since nobody at home was keeping an eye on the incubator

Incubating them longer will change nothing. If the incubator worked properly-kept the right temperature, they will not now start development. I encourage you to try again with fresh eggs.
Too bad I'm out of money. I just spent my last bit of money at the vet on Wednesday so I have to wait until next Friday for my paycheck

It isn't your fault. These eggs were never fertile to begin with. Even with poor incubation they would have some veins or development. The breeder gave you infertile eggs.

The breeder states in description that they won't ship replacements at all for any reason
That is unfortunate, but as a breeder, I do understand his position. The fact that they were/are clear does not mean they were infertile; more likely they have had such handling that the egg contents have been damaged and made unviable. Most breeders check fertility before eggs are sold. When eggs don't hatch a bad review is often given making sales harder so most sellers do all they can to insure the buyer a good hatch.

So you know for the future, not always having the water container filled would not prevent development in most states where humidity is not very dry. Here in TN I can incubate with no water during the spring and fall when rains are frequent. I have Call ducks and, because of their tiny, SHORT bills, assisted hatches are the norm.

I decided to check the bad egg I tossed earlier today and using gloves, I took it out of the garbage then outside to pop it open. That one definitely made it at least until between day 11 and day 12. Not sure what caused it to quit
