Hi,
This is the one duck hatched from my first incubator, he’s now 12 weeks old and the curly feather just appeared on his tail. We raised him in the house like you would do with a normal pet. In the last two days he started this weird behaviour when I go tiptoes and talk. Does anyone know what does it mean?

Hi and welcome to BYC :frow We're so happy you've decided to join us:ya

What's he eating? @WVduckchick can you take a look, please.
Hi,

Thank you for your quick message! I have been reading this forum daily but I always found the answers without having to ask. This is a bit different as I couldn't find one.
He's eating this food https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wild-Things-Swan-Duck-Food/dp/B003ZGGR2G
I notice this behaviour since his curly feather came up so I am not sure if it's linked to that. He's not aggressive but he looks angry, usually, he would walk with his head down for a couple of seconds.
We just ordered a coop to put in the garden and will buy a female duck before that.

Let's let others pop in and take a look. I can't find an analysis on that particular feed, but marketed in the UK for ducks should mean it's properly balanced.

Can you also try to get a good still pic of him and post? Hard to see the feather you mention in the video.

Quite hard to take a picture as he does it when I’m far, I took a screenshot to the video.
