Indian runner ducklings

Ya, but you haven't actually tried to do it. It's not as easy as it seems on the videos and I don't think encouraging it is a desirable and safe thing to do!
yes but you're supposed to do it at about 1 day old. Yours are way past that!

Why ? Why can’t you do it later? The video I seen they were a week or two but not as big as mine but what’s the harm?

I've always heard you should do it right after they hatched, like the next day. @WVduckchick hatches all the time. Let's see if she will come on and give her experience with this.

The way I understood, you really want to wait a day or two after hatching to try it, but as long as they're under a week it's okay.

That all said, I agree with you. Unless there's some critical reason to need to know the ducklings' sex immediately, it's a risky, potentially harmful thing to do.

Ok well I don’t see how it would be harmful, butIll wait for their voice to come In , I just didn’t want to get attached and it be a boy , I wanted to switch it out now . But I’ll wait and see

The video I watched was great but they are just to big probably now
that's why I wanted you to see it. I knew I'd heard they had to be real young but I didn't know why. Haha, I still don't exactly know why but I figure Metzers probably knows what they are talking about!
