Indian Runner Ducks

Anyone have experience with Indian Runner ducks? I'd eventually like to have a few. If so, how do they interact with your chickens/other fowl? Eating habits? Etc. Any info is great info! Thanks

They are cute, lay huge eggs, but can be afraid of their own shadows. I have one and she is a nut

Mine are pretty sociable, easy going birds. The care for them is similar as other ducks. I can't imagine my flock without them. Wifezilla is right too, nothing is funnier than when a group of them gets frightened over apparently nothing and goes running off in a group. LOL. A lot of mine are also quite calm and friendly too though.

We have runners. Ours are afraid of EVERYTHING

! They eat the same feed as our chickens, and even go in the same coop at night.

They are friendly enough, and our drake protects his woman by all means, lol. We give them fresh vege's & fruits everyday, and keep a small pool for them. Then of course they like to go into the full size pool too.

Our ducks tend to pick on our chickens, but we didn't get the ducks till they were full grown.
