Indian Runner Squawking

If my indian runners squawk, does that mean they are upset about something? I'm trying to figure out what's causing it so I can keep it to a minimum b/c the high pitched squawks are driving me crazy.

I have four and they are some nervous little ducks! They squawk ALL the time. If anyone or anything gets anywhere near them they start up. When they walk around they sqawk and quack. When I sneeze the make a racket too!!

We have 1 that is doing that, and it's because she is broody. Maybe yours is too?

I agree with the broody statement; my buff squawked her head off when she came off the nest. Recently, my fawn & white indian runner girl started acting funny too.
