Yes, very active. Actually when the ducks are in water they look pretty much like any other duck. It's just when they are on land can you see how different runners are. They do like to run....... LOL.​

I hatched 2 out of 5 duck eggs earlier last year and only 2 hatched one looked like a fawn and white runner mix female and the other was a pure white runner mix male with bright bright orange feet,legs,bill. They amused me very much but I had to sell/give away some of my ducks last summer and they were on the list including 3 ancona drakes and 2 male toulouse geese after that my nest felt kinda "empty" so I ordered 5 ancona ducklings

and they turned out to be all drakes

THIS year I'm wanting to place an order for Holderreads on some of them penciled runners

P.S. My feed store carried white runners for the 1st year last year and they had a bunch of tubs full of them and I'm still trying to figure out where they got them from and I have had little succes

We dont have TSC here we have Rural King and dont get me wrong but I love that place but I've had some bad shipments and getting the wrong chicks I want there. And there staff if not the friendliest staff they could have I've met only 2 or 3 staff members I like there

I ask TSC where they ordered their chicks and ducks from and they told me they ordered them from Privett in New Mexico. I have never heard of that co. Does anyone know anything about them.

I have never heard of them and have never seen an advertisement about them in my Back Yard Poultry Mag. either.

yes i have heard of the they have nice web site. plus pics of their own birds. never ordered from them though. they carry alot of varitey.
