Indian Runners

Penelope and Patrick our Runners and their 6 lil fuzzy butts! They are all eggs from Penelope, fertilized by Patrick, so you know they will be handsome and or beautiful when they grow up! I did tell Miss Penelope that she was not allowed to hatch drakes

I wonder if she mentioned that bit of advise to Patrick?

I got the babies Tuesday!

Miss Poppy, my official greeter, could not get close enough to the new babies.

They are at that super personable three week old stage right now.

... There is a sneaky, little Cayuga in there. She is very fast, though. Much faster than the Runners.

very cute! That is a lot of runners!
They are adorable, but i can't help but see you are using newspaper in your brooder, it's very slippery and can cause your duckling to end up with spraddle legs. they need something like the rubber maid shelf paper that is easy to grip or old towels. They are so adorable and i know you want to give them the best chance of not having any leg issues. both the old towels and the rubber shelf liner can be shook out and washed and reused..
