Indian Runners

I have three Runners that are about 7 or 8 weeks old now. (excuse the Muscovy hes a camera hog).
All of them quack very distinctly and none have signs of curling tail feathers (the black one in the above photo got his tail messed up by my rooster when the ducks hatched an escape plan)... Does this mean I have 3 females? Also, what colors would you call them since none of them are solid colors?

quacks are female. Males grunt, sorta like a quack but with Laryngitis . I can't help you with the colors.

I have 4 Indian runners that are 6 weeks old....3 still peep and 1 has the beginings of a quack....or could be a grunt lol.....so I am not sure at this time whether I have males or females

That looks like the beginning of a very nice Muscovy. The bird in the middle appears to be a Magpie duck. They have runner blood in them but they don't have the upright carriage, slimness of body or length of neck. The black and white duck also seems to be a Magpie duck. The last duck appears to be a variation of a Blue Swede duck. All three are probably females, but you have to listen for the quack. Magpie ducks are very good layers and a bit calmer than runners.

I was wondering if they were mixed or not runners. Nice looking ducks any way

Rookie you ducks are beautiful, i have to agree though I really don't think that man had a clue as to what breed of ducks he had for sale that day because yousr aren't Runners. And your Muscovy is gorgeous, Hope everything has been good since graduation!!

Pretty, pretty, pretty!

Here's a pic of my two 8 wk old runners. Still not sure if male or female but I do love them. They ate meal worms out of my hand today !

eta: Well I know one is a hen now. I was out there today and there was one that was sooo loud. But they stay so close together I couldn't tell which one was making all the noise.
