I talked with Kathleen on the phone a couple weeks ago. They are still working out a few details before any announcements. I CAN tell you that if anyone is able to help sponsor (financially) or knows of a company or individual that would like to help sponsor, get in touch with them. If you cant reach them, pm me and I will play middle man

I think once they are able to secure some sponsorship, things will move along alot quicker.

You could list auctions and make the proceeds go to them for the chickenstock. They need to keep some of the money they make off the auctions at the chickenstock go towards the next year's chickenstock. My dad's family reunion does this, has an 'auction' to raise money for the next year's drinks and meats. Everyone brings things from around the house, wrapped, and it gets auctioned. It's a lot of fun seeing what people 'win'. I remember one year, 2 of my cousins were having a bidding war on this box. It was shaped like a bracelet box, so they thought it was something 'huge'. Turns out someone had used a bracelet box and stuffed it full of condoms...we all had a huge laugh from that!

Well, everyone Rob and I have been talking about Chickenstock 2011 quite a bit and have been trying to come up with a feasible way to pull it off and right now it is just not in the cards or budget. I would like to pass the baton to one of you fine people before it is too late in the year. LOL I know it's only February but there is a lot of planning that goes on behind the scenes. I can try to help with this years festivities if anyone is interested in taking it on. Please PM me if you want. We haven't been on much, I have been working like crazy because of this terrible weather, so email might be best. Anyway, I also have a few donated prize items that have been brought to me so I would like to make sure they are a part of Chickenstock 2011.
I know people have been looking forward to us having Chickenstock and I want to sincerely apologize.
