I will be looking for Marans hatching eggs or chicks... Any variety or sex really... I would love for them to come from the darkest of eggs, but egg color is something I can work with as time goes on. PM me if you have any available you can bring, so I know what I can expect to bring home.

My Husband and I would like to attend.
I'm pretty close ( SE Indy) to you is there anything I can do to help beforehand? I go to SW Greenwood to see grandkids.
I don't have anything to sell or swap though.

I will be bringing Bantam Cochins. I have a couple of Blues, pullets and cockerels, a Barred pullet, a gorgeous white cockerel, another white cockerel that is currently still feathering in, and a couple of black cockerels. I have to check but I think I sold the last of my black pullets.

I will also have Black Copper Marans, Blue Marans, Speckled Sussex (two trios), and if anyone is interested in some Bantam cockerels for free (pures and mixes), or some mixed breed Standard cockerels for free, please PM me. I have WAY too many roosters and cockerels, and everyone is buying up up my pullets, so I have lots of extra boys that HAVE to go. I can't find anyone around here to process them, so if anyone wants them for free, let me know now. I have Bantam Cochin/Buff Orpington mixes, Bantam Cochin/Silkie mixes, Standard Speckled Sussex/Welsummer mixes, Silver Cuckoo Marans mixes, one Standard Buff Orpington/Cuckoo Maran mix, and a couple little cockerels of unknown breeds that I got as eggs from another breeder who has a mixed Bantam flock. The pure Bantam Cochin cockerels, I have LOTS of them. Some of them are pet quality, and some of them are really nice looking. I am just up to my ears in roos already and don't need to keep any Cochin cockerels this year.

I will also be bringing pure Silkies, probably mostly whites this year. I also have 2 Showgirls that I am considering bringing if I have a buyer interested.

I also might bring a Silver Lakenvelder pair, they will be 4 months old at the time of chickenstock. They are my daughter's, so it's up to her whether she wants to sell them, and she's still deciding, but if she has a potentially interested buyer, she might be tempted to bring them.

I also have a bunch of Silkie/Cochin mixes if anyone is interested. If I have anything that anyone is interested in, please PM me so I can make a list of what to bring with me. I'd like to sell everything I bring, and not have to bring them back if I don't have to, lol! Car space is limited since I'll be carpooling with someone else, so just PM me if I have something you are interested in.

I'll be bringing Black Copper Marans and Blue Marans. Not sure how many boys and girls I have at the moment, but I got my eggs from Erik at Monkeyingaroundfarms, and the BCM eggs he send me were so dark they were nearly black, I was VERY pleased. The Blue Marans eggs were in a light cycle, but even those were darker than any brown eggs I currently get from my hens. They can produce BCM, Blue Coppers, and Blues. Beautiful, robust little chicks, I'm very pleased with these chicks. I probably have more cockerels than pullets, but the cockerels are GORGEOUS.
