Funny u mention that, I have a very pritty buff laced polish hen who lays for me just about every day! Could we possibly work her in as part of the deal on thoes silkies we talked about?

It's a possibility. How old is she? Is she people friendly? My kids handle their chickens constantly.

She is 14 months, still let's me hold her upside down on her back in the palm of my hand and almost falls asleep lol. Very sweet, never pecks, eats out of your hand.

If there are any that have articles on heritage poultry, or on faverolles or dorkings, then I would love a copy. Let me know what you would like for one, thanks!

I'm sure there are some. I'll just plan on bringing them all, and you can pick out what you want. I'm asking $1 an issue. I'm up to trades too....

Unless I can get to a store to buy some food supplies, I don't know if I can even bring any food this year. Is anyone bringing chips? Pop? If I can get to a store, maybe I can get that. Gotta see about that though.

I got the stuff to make a couple gooseberry pies, too. I start a new job tomorrow after 9 months of being laid off!

If by some chance I have to work Saturday my boyfriend will bring the birds that I have already made deals on, pies, bread for sandwiches, paper goods and the stuff for the raffle I said I would bring. But sine this work week is supposed to be mon-fri I don't think I should have to work the 7th.

I fixed it and I fixed our post so people know that the food I listed is what I am providing and not everything that will be here

My younger DD has decided that she wants to sell her Silver Lakenvelder pair. Beautiful birds, came from breeder stock, and they will be 16 weeks old at chickenstock. So if anyone is interested in a beautiful pair of Lakenvelders, let me know.

Also, my neighbors also raise chickens and I told them about chickenstock and they might have some birds to send with me to sell since they won't be able to make it. I know they are looking to find homes for a couple of BA's, some Bantam Cochin cockerels, and possibly some EE's. I'll get details from them and see if they do want to send their birds with me or not.
