Phoenixfeatherfarms, are the Ameraucauna pullets you have laying already? What color are their eggs so far? I know they can really vary and as I only have limited space I want to make sure they're going to give me some pretty eggs if I buy them.

Several of you have marans, I noticed. Can you pm me with prices for your pullets if you have any available? Makes me want to dance just thinking about those dark eggs.

My husband...thinks I am truly, madly, deeply insane.

But he likes chickies, too, so he will just shrug and roll his eyes a bit when I return home with a menagerie.

Is anybody interested in any cages? DH is taking orders and will bring them to CS. If you would like a certain size or would like to order any just PM me and we can take your order and what size and quote a price.

This one is 12"x 12" x 9.5". The door is wire and is on top and the floor sits up a little. Asking $10 for this size.
One out of welded wire (1" x 2") that is 2' x 2' x 4' is $20. $5 for each wall to make compartments. I'll work in getting pics posted as I can.
The entire cage will be made of wire.

If you want a particular size i'll send you a quote.

I have a trio of muscovey adults. They just live with everything else. I put them up in the chicken house at night.

My answer to everybody that asks if I eat my birds, is "I don't eat ones I personally know." lol So no, I haven't processed any of the turkeys I've raised. I can't really give you much input to go on on that.....

I'll try to remember to get some current guinea pics too.

Got any pictures of what your finished product looks like?

I posted a pic of one I made. Take in mind that he will be making them and this was my first cage. It's holding 1 quail chick. I use the last of the hardware wire to make it and was lacking enoug to finish he door on top. When he makes them they will be better made. There aren't any left around here right now but will be working on some more soon. I'll post pics when they're made. He'll be using 2 types of wire to hold small birds and chicks and bigger birds. I edited the original post with more information.

I just can't wait. I will be bringing some Lavender split Ameraucana and Olive Egger Lavender Split cockerels. I also have 9 ducklings that are blue cayugas or blue runner/cayugas that I will be bringing if I don't sell them before then. I might also bring my English Anogra fawn buck that is 3 months old if anyone is interested. I am asking $25 for him.

All this talk of ducks has me wondering again about getting a female Mallard for my drake. His mate was lost last year due to a predator. Does anyone have a young female Mallard they would be interested in selling?

Has anyone heard from FrChuckW? I tried calling him, and apparently his number has been changed. I haven't seen him post on here for a while, just wondering if I've missed him

I'm still debating on whether or not I want to rehome 2 of my Swedish drakes, or get more Swedish hens. Would any one be interested in 2 Blue Swedish drakes? Beautiful boys. If interested, let me know. They are good boys, big and healthy.

How big is your chicken house, Chseeads? How many birds per square foot? I still haven't figured out what the proper density ratio might be, especially when combining different birds.

Please save me the three heftiest turkeys you have available!

And I'd take one each of every color of guinea you have other than pearl, royal purple, or buff.

The muscovies, I'm still pondering...
