Here are a few areas we need help with
Parking-We need a few guys to voulunteer to help Rob get folks parked. It will only be for one hour per person until the traffic dies down.
Sign In Booth-We need a few volunteers to take turns at the sign in table to get folks signed in, give them a nametag and direct them to the festivities.
Secondary Grill-We need 1 or 2 people to volunteer to cook items on the secondary grill.
Food Organizer-We need 1 maybe 2 people to volunteer in directing folks where to put food, drins and paper goods.
Pinata Organizer-I need 1 person to volunteer to gather the children for the pinata and allow each child 1 swing until the pinata is toast!
Clean up-Any volunteers for clean up will be accepted and greatly appreciated. Many hands make light work and last year went great!!Videos-I will need 1 maybe 2 volunteers to keep a few videos going throughout the day.

Keep in mind, you won't miss a thing by volunteering and it will help us out a great deal.

Chickenstock, for us, requires a lot of work and planning, there is a lot that goes on that no one sees or knows about. I don't want to sould like we do it all, that is impossible but we want to make sure we can enjoy the day just as much as you!

Both my daughters are BYC members, and they are both volunteering. cutiecochingirl wants to take a shift doing the signing in, plus she said she will help with the clean up, and miss_chicken_queen will help gather the kids for the pinata. Depending on how my back is feeling that day, I'll try to help with stuff too, but I'll need to sit a lot. Bulging disc in my back and nerve damage.

Funny u mention that, I have a very pritty buff laced polish hen who lays for me just about every day! Could we possibly work her in as part of the deal on thoes silkies we talked about?

It's a possibility. How old is she? Is she people friendly? My kids handle their chickens constantly.

I hate the way my back is. I'm in a lot of pain all the time, and the longer I stand, the more my back swells and begins to hurt, and then I'm taking ibuprofen like it's candy, and it barely helps. I stood out in the yard with my neighbor day before yesterday for about an hour talking and I was almost in tears by the time I came back in the house. I'm bringing my lawn chairs with me this year. I forgot them last year and had to stand the whole day!

I think you may be late on the mottled boat.....

I do have a couple red ones - came from my neighbor, he has a pair of bronze that have some bourbon red in their blood, and they throw an occasional reddish baby....

But I've definitely got turkeys of some kind you can get...lol
