Hey, I had to get in on the action! I'm gonna need more soon, so I figured it was worth a try. Almost have the big run ready to fence in, so I gotta fill it up!
I will help out where ever I am needed. So you tell me where to go and what to do and its done.
I will be bringing my 11 yr old granddaughter provided she looses her additude with her mother before then.
I know I was supposed to post this much earlier, but between the heat and other things coming up I'm lucky to get this done tonight!
All of the plants will be in 4 1/2 inch deep trade pots for easy transit; some plants are still small seedlings, others are ready for transplanting to gallon containers. I will price items before going to Indy, but nothing will be over $2.
Note: Some of these are commonly grown in the deep south, but may work better as container plants. Other plants are fairly uncommon and their true range is unknown. You can try to place them in a warm, protected spot in your garden (not too close to the house, some of these can get big if not in a container.)
These are the plants I currently have:
For the less common plants I'm attaching links so you can see info for the plants-
I am letting you guys determine the price, as I mainly want them to go to a good home. Let me know what you're willing to pay! If they sell I will bring them to Indy.
These are chickens I now have available:
**Black Silkie Cross chick, hatched May 21. So far no noticable comb, wattles, or crowing. No eggs yet. Very, very feathered. Probably silkie x polish cross.
Photos-
**Silkie chick, hatched June 30, unknown sex.
Photos-
**Chocolate Old English Cockerel, Hatched May 6th, really nice but have no hens or pen for him
**Crele Old English Bantam Cockerel, Hatched May 6th, really nice but have no hens or pen for him

I'd like your pure Silkie chick if possible. I'd be willing to pay for it what I'll be selling my Silkie chicks for. I want one that color, and from my hatch I didn't get that color. Please tell me it's available!!!

Interesting plants! Is that what you like to grow, mostly? Exotics? Very cool.
I'd like a lemon bottlebrush, please. I'd love a few more plants, but nothing looks cold-hardy for me in my zone and I can't bring them all inside! If there are any that you think are hardy to zone 5 I'd like those, too.
As for volunteering, I was thinking it would be really hard because I'll have my three year old with me, but I just remembered my brother will be with me now as well so I can put him in charge of my son while I do my job--whatever that might be. I'll take a look at the list tomorrow and let you know, Schultz duo.
Who all was interested in my Speckled Sussex? It looks like we'll be getting rid of all of them, so I should have 7 pullets and 2 cockerels. Pullets will be exactly 16 weeks old at chickenstock. If I sell any before chickenstock, I'll post it. I want to make sure I have the buyers lined up before I drag them down there. Not hatchery stock, they are breeder stock. I know some people had said they wanted them but seriously, I don't have the time to go back through 90+ pages to try to find who it was that was interested. If I had the time, I would, but it's easier to just ask again and add those names to the list I'm compiling.
