I have been thinking non-stop about improving my coop and adding another just so I could be ready to actually buy something from some of you guys eventually. K2-I loved your Sussex! They were amazing birds. How do the hens lay?

I'm contemplating how to turn my old glass greenhouse into a coop. Where it's at now it gets way too hot in the summer and in the winter I imagine it would get pretty cold. I have no way to heat or cool it in its current location. I thought about moving it to the east side of the house and so I measured and took a look, but there's 1 small window and the exhaust fan from the stove. I cant dig down due to a heavy iron exhaust pipe coming from the septic tank. If I can get it under that window then I'd have *the* perfect location. It gets less sun there and in the winter we can vent heat from the wood burning furnace to it in small amounts.
