Indiana has the need to share this information, so happy to see so many joining!
Fermented Feed is amazing. Every animal i own eats it. Its very healthy, gives them natural probotics to keep their digestion working, and using more of the values in the food they eat.

Its really easy. My critters look just amazing, and my barn cats are all pudgy lol. There were 2 that i was worried about, they have filled out and look great. They won't ever be house cats but I don't want them to go hungry. Roxy my little piglet had me pretty worried. 15 weeks and still 15 pounds. She just passed the 50 pound mark at 22 weeks and she is finally filled out well. I am sold, won't feed any other way.

Do i need to cover the buckets with a lid? I would like to try it with cracked corn since that is all i have right now. Just put corn in bucket and cover with water and stir. Let sit for couple of days and it should be ready?

Hey all,

Scott from Michigan city, IN. Have a little 3 1/2 acre slice of heaven surrounded by cornfields. I keep mostly large breed for eggs but also dabble in a few peacock, fainting goats, and this spring going to get a few call ducks. Thanks a bunch for including me.

Joe from Skin N Fluff Farm here in mauckport, indiana. we raise showgirl and silkie chickens. we also have one turken hen and a maran hen in our flock of 11. my son wants to grow up and have a farm so my wife and i decided to help out and get him started on living his dream. we never expected that we would also enjoy havong the chickens around as much as we do. now that we are hooked we are making plans to buy a larger piece of land and expand our micro farm in a couple years once our current house is paid off.

Wonderful to meet you all. If you raise birds to sell, swap etc, be sure to let us know what you have, we will add them to our list. What a great way to find the breed you want locally!

Have a rooster to rehome? A gander that's unruly, or just too many in your flock? Share it here also.
