Ok, so a (short) chicken train is in place for Friday 11/15 in the afternoon (time still to be determined). I'll be going from Warren (Huntington county) to meet up with Jchny2000 in the Anderson area. If you need chickens delivered to the area or brought back up north, get with me to arrange it.
I havent triedit either and don't plan itlol. If I am going to spend $7 on frozen pizza I am getting red baronI figured I was the last of the human race who hasn't had it before. But honestly, wasn't too expressed for a $7 frozen pizza. I'll stick to my $1.50 totinos when I need a quick and easy meal.
It good to see someone who isn't just raising them to butcher. They have lived a lot longer than most cornishX. I am might have said this before, but I assume you have to monitor their diet.Aww, good Momma!
No kidding! 13 posts all day, it has to be a record!
She started around 7 months. I almost thought up til then she was a roo lol. The roo tank didn't crow till he was almost a year old.
I plan to get a few more. they are great layers!
I havent watched it yet, but borrowed it from a friend. I am going to watch it this weekend. I almost never watch movies. You should watch Identity Theft, It is really funny. So I haven't seen a funny movie come out in a LONG time, but "The Heat" with Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock is absolutely hilarious! Definitely at the top of my favorite list.
Also, I'm going to be heading to the Peru and Logansport area tomorrow around noon. If anyone is interested in any of the chickens I have available and want to meet let me know. Here is what I have available.
I am looking for white silkie pullets/hens. I'm wanting good quality.
I also have the following for sale or trade.
(1) under 6mo tolbunt polish cockerel
(1) under 6mo silkie cockerel who has just started crowing (either a buff partridge or porcelain colored bird)
(1) 2-3 month old straight comb blue partridge silkie chick
(3) 6-8 week old legbar cockerels (one is poorly colored and thought was a pullet by pattern so I wouldn't recommend breeding for auto sexing but would be great to add blue egg gene for say EE projects)
(1) 5-7 week old rhodebar cockerel
(1) beautiful 8-10 week old naked neck cockerel (May keep him)
(1) 5-7 week old gold laced naked neck chick.
(1-2) 4 wk old buff silkie chicks
yea that was a good movie too! Really anything wiyh melissa McCarthy is hilarious.I havent triedit either and don't plan itlol. If I am going to spend $7 on frozen pizza I am getting red baron

She is really funny, when she takes the keys and runs and make the joke about the kenyan is halirous! congrats on a sucessful sale and a happy customer. That is a good hatch rate for shipped eggs.I would never be that luckySo I got this message from an ebay customer of mine who bought 48+ quail eggs (sent almost 60 eggs):
Dear bradselig, I just wanted to thank you again for the abundance of eggs that you shipped out with my order. I ended up with a 94% hatch rate and have a small flock of happy little cheepers. Just wanted to say thanks again.- bebooks7712
Selling on ebay has made me extremely nervous but messages like that makes me feel much more comfortable with it.

You have excellent packing, fertility, and communication. Those 3 things are the biggest issues I have with eBay eggs.So I got this message from an ebay customer of mine who bought 48+ quail eggs (sent almost 60 eggs):
