So someone tried to tell me that Peaches is a splash EE, and that's why Cricket is blue. But peaches is peach! LOL She does have a little blue or gray in her head that makes her look dirty all time. Any EE peeps that have an opinion on this?

There are splash ameraucanas. But it is not an accepted color, so then some AM people throw a fit if you dont call them splash EEs. Some say non-standard ameraucanas. Wit all the termanology (sp) people get easily confused. People try and give color names to EEs, but I don't.If I am going to call it something it would be exactly what it looks like. I would call her splash peach. Call her whatever color you want, there is no standard so no one can tell you you are wrong.

I am trying to find real Ameraucana's Blue and or wheaten and Blk copper Marans for a good price. I'm not rich by no means and no way can I pay 20.00 for chicks.

I have BBS ameraucanas. None for sale right now, but I may in the summer. If my current ever start laying. Plus I am getting a shipment from Paul and Angela Smith, depending on ratio on male to female, I might have a few I want to get rid of. I definatly want to get a nice trio out of them maybe 2 and I am getting 15. I will be able to tell sex for sure by july at the latest. I am pretty sure Brad has BC marans.

Anyone have any comments on golden laced wyandottes? All my leads to Ameracaunas and Favorelles have dead ended. These are apa approved color right, what I looked up said yes.

Yes accepted color. Look on the ABC website www.ameraucana.org . Go to the breeders directory. You are going to have to spend a little chunk of money though. I just paid $155 for 15 if that tells ou anything. I didn't really think it was that bad though coming from a good line. A lot of people are running out of space for orders

Thank You !! I like the leghorns also, they are beautiful birds, I'm keeping a trio and a pair of RC. at least for now. and my cho/dun ameraucanas even lay blue eggs !! LOL !!

Planning on getting rid of about half my birds, so we can maybe have a family life. We would really like to take the RV out and do some traveling and camping. If I get down, maybe omeone wouldn't mind feeding all my stuff so much and could come just once a day !!

Yes I'm aware of how much, an Indiana breeder Schroeder farms has them he is in the breeder association, he will sell $10 a chick, but straight run only, I'm really needing pullets, and I can't find anyone to shell out money like I'm willing in my area for quality birds and to take the ones I don't need

I've already contacted the page awhile ago lol, I think they said she only had hatching eggs and possibly straight run bantams, finding quality is very hard to come by! : but I'm trying my best with every avenue, and really trying to avoid hatchery
