True, as long as the snow does not increase the morning chore time there is no delay. I do remember a few times when the snow came while I was in highschool. My mother chose to cancel school for the day and make shoveling our uphill gravel 1/10 of a mile long drive the activity for everyone all day (with lots of hot chocolate breaks). Note the driveway was always up hill when it needed work. But the same hill 5 ft over was great for sledding DOWN.

I have some new layers randomly dropping outside. Hope they catch on fast, its a real pain.Hmm I guess I need to look harder in my pens. I found 3 bantam Cochin eggs today in the one, but only have 2 pullets lol. Only one I'd think is old enough to be laying though.
